I lay awake at night dreaming of the day that I stumble upon a haul like that! And I thought I had a good day! Very nice find!

Great haul coppernickel! I got skunked again last week. By the way, does anyone know why the Fed boxes with black and white wrappers never seem to have silver? The ones with yellow and white wrappers almost always have silver. I had the dreaded black and white wrappers last week and I went through them anyway, but nada. I think I will take the next lot straight to the dump bank.

I've had 4 straight boxes of those dreaded black and white wrappers. No silver, but 6- 2002's.

you know, those last four boxes that I did were black and white wrappers. Guess they do have no silver in them.

excellent find CnD! I definatley think that the silver percentages are increasing due to the recession. At least some good is comming from the downturn.

Well, XoG, it wasn't quite up to your haul, but I was very happy with it! Eight of those rolls I got at one bank, and the eight rolls were solid 90%, except for one 1965 (wonder how that got in there?)

Went through 19 boxes yesterday. I got 59 40%ers 5 1964 and
2 franklins. Seems like too much work, But I've got 20 more boxes for this week yet. I don't think I'll do this again next week, not as many anyway. As far as returning coins to the machine, if you take someone with you one person can go back to the car to get more coins while the other is still feeding the machine.

Oh, I found a walking liberty in the coin return at the bank yesterday. How cool is that?

Don, how do you go through 20 boxes? What bank is willing to order this many for you, and how on earth do you dump 20,000 half dollars? You must have to show up with a dump truck full of them!

20k halves would weigh 500 lbs. My main concern would be someone breaking into my car when I was taking the first load into the bank.

I would be more concerned with being crushed by them. Death by coppernickel clad coins is no way to go!
