You just hit the nail on the head with why I said I did't want to bring up numismatic controversy by mentioning burnished... it means polished literally

A reverse proof is where the fields are frosty and the devices are mirrored. The exact opposite of a normal proof

On the burnished ASE's ....the planchets are prepared before striking.
IFor the burnished ASE's if gives them a difference appearance then
the bullion version.

I thoughtf you might ask what other reverse proofs coins there are.

The ones that come to mind

In the 2014 50th anniversary Kennedy set, there is a reverse
Proof half dollar.

In May there is suppose to be a set that will have a reverse proof
Roosevelt dime.

Just a friendly suggestion:

Google is your friend...try it out...get some info and then ask questions about what you didn't find or found and do not understand.

Google won't give you personal opinions (like this forum) but it is a great resource for facts. (actually it WILL give you links to opinions also...)

I got quite a few hits when I put in "reverse proof"..

It's quite a large series at this point with the 1995-W Proof being the key. It's a $4000 coin!
