Yeeepppyyyy....... I just marked my milestone of 500+ post last night without knowing it. So, to "punish" myself. I am creating this "4 parts" contest/giveaway. 1) When did I first started "collecting" US coins? 2) Why did I joined this forum and what did I gain the most out of this action? 3) What coins albums am I working on right now? Hint: I am currently having coin and working on 5 albums. 4) How many people will answer at least 1 question right? The Prizes: a) The best answer for each question will win one coin (either foreign or US) - I will pick one winner for each questions. Four questions = 4 coins = 4 winners b) BONUS: you will win a special prize if you have the best answer for all 4 questions. ONE BONUS WINNER. All answer must be posted before I hit 550 posts. Otherwise, you may have to send me a gift... Update: I am 1 posts away before this contest end... I better make it a "very quality" post.... heheheEdited by SA4H 01/08/2008 10:47 pm

Ok, Ok..... it's over! Here's the result: 1) When did I first started "collecting" US coins? Winner: mycrob = 1999 (the first coin set I bought was 1999 State Quarter coin set from Littleton in 1999 - "gold plated"..... hahahaha - I will treasure it as a good lesson learned. I started putting away interesting coins and State Quarter since then.2) Why did I joined this forum and what did I gain the most out of this action? It seemed everyone did their best in answer this question. I think your answer is more or less reflecting what's in your mind regarding this forum - all are very helpful and interesting. This is a tough one for me to choose the winner. Overall, I like justabeginner the most: "You joined this forum because you just started collecting coins and wanted to learn more, plus you found this forum very friendly and interesting. You have gained a lot of valueable information about coins and enjoyed expanding your collection through a vast number of trades and buyings with/from members of this forum."
3) What coins albums am I working on right now? Hint: I am currently having coin and working on 5 albums. Answer: US Type Set 7070; Lincoln Cent; Buffalo Nickel (I bought 10 of them from tmor, on this forum); Mercury dimes; Roosevelt Dimes. I mentioned a lot about the 7070 Type Set - it should not have been that hard. I did bought the ASE album and had some coins ready to put in but wasn't considered about it when I post the question. I bought/acquire State Quarters and Presidential dollars but haven't thinking/starting to put them in Albums yet, sorry for the misleading info..... it was kinda tricky.... hehehe.
I know mycrob's answer and arthrene's answer are almost the same and both got 3/5 right but since mycrob already won 1 prize and arthrene got #4 answer almost right; so, I will give this question/prize to arthrene. 4) How many people will answer at least 1 question right? Answer: 9 = Winner: Jser (I like the "75%" answer from brefos77 though, but it's not the right answer, I am so sorry)All 4 winners (mycrob, justabeginner, arthrene, Jser), please email me your mailing address to claim your prize. My intention is to make the contest fun and rewarding. I know nothing is perfect and my contest is the same. I can't make everyone happy - hopefully there are no hard-feeling. Thank you all for participating.

I'd considered mycrob question (first person to answer right win) and also I want to spread out the prize - each participant to win one prize - consider my original post: " I will pick one winner for each questions. Four questions = 4 coins = 4 winners"
Thank you all.
