Let me say this, this was the BEST day of my life. I was in second place in the coin grading competition  SO CLOSE! I also shook David Halls hand!     I also got a homestead DDR for free! Here are some of the goodies I bought. This is a OBW of 1968 D cents. I will look through this later for varieties,   This is the Homestead DDR 1921 Morgan.  I don't know about you, but I LOVE this morgan. It is in my 7070 now.   Mercury dime, now in my 7070.   And this 1942 cent. I love it!   Overall, this was an amazing day, I shook David Halls hand, I got some awesome coins, and over the loud speaker they said my name as runner up in the grading contest. I spent the whole day with my dad too so the memories are a bonus.  |

Glad you had such a great time. You got some really nice looking coins there. Congrats on the grading contest. I find grading to be a bit tricky so I would be thrilled not to be in last place. LOL So I think second place is really great. Besides, I know you're only going to get better and better. Glad you had such a great and memorable day.  |

Sounds awesome! I have yet to go to a coin show  Very nice pickups and coingrats on the DDR find! It's also really cool that you met David Halls! Edited by ChildOfTheWheat

Oh yeah, I was going to buy this amazing ike with this little rainbow on on it that could be seen when you carthweel it. It was 10 bucks, lol, bucks, like bucks like ikes, it was a nice coin but that was all the money I had so I looked around and when I came back to it it was gone.

Good job in the grading competition! I would have loved to do that, but we don't have that in our nearby coin shows. Don't know where I would have placed, though. Maybe I should start listening to you in the grading forums.  JK |
