The flatness of the hair over the ear plus the two gouges in the cap probably do preclude an MS grade. I'm unsure as to how to interpret the appearance of the upper portion of the eagle's left wing (as you look at the coin), it has sort of a beat-up aspect to it. On the other hand, the eagle's breast and talons look fine. I'll call it at AU58 without a lot of confidence.

Tough call. If it's circulated, it was only in someone's pocket for about ten minutes.

The reverse looks UNC, but the obverse may have some wear, hard to say, if it's circulated, it's an AU-58+.

Definite light circulation, as indicated by the slight dull gray color below Liberty's eye and above and below IGWT on the reverse. I see the contact marks on the left wing but don't think they are severe enough to qualify as a problem for a grading service. Breast feathers are well-defined and there is a lot of luster evident. Minor nicks on Liberty's cheek are not a big deal for an AU coin.

I'd say strong for AU-55 and AU-58 is not out of the question. Pretty much the poster child for a "slider" IMO.
Still a perfectly nice CC Morgan!

Low MS. Too much luster, clean fields and lack of contact marks on devices for me to go AU. Is that a scan?

There are several areas exhibiting some light circulation. I agree with your assessment. Nice AU58
