That is a really nice find! I almost thought it was a circ strike. But then I saw the S. Keeper, even without the cameo.

Save all of the money you spend on Starbuck's and put it towards a year-end coin purchase, you would be able to get a REALLY nice coin. That's my mentality.

The star bucks you hold for a moment, never to be remembered, and coins can be held forever, even in the memories of others.

You guys are funny it's just Starbucks... This was a nice find though, it just did't feel right in my hand and when I looked it was a pleasant surprise. I'm not one to really look at my pocket change but makes me wonder how many proof coins float around out there

Waahoo circulated proofs! Got me a 76-s quarter the other day in some change as well. Sucker looked so bright and shiny, I knew exactly what I had
Rest in Peace

Well T-Bop, I came into some proof sets recently for a really good price and I broke some up to get all the proof Kennedy halves I needed. I am trying to sell of the other proof coins but for those that don't sell I will probably just deposit them and hopefully they end up with another collector eventually :D

Be it a thief or an heir, it was done out of ignorance. To them it was "Why would anyone want to keep their change in this plastic case?"

I love to circulate "unusual " coins, like low value proofs, steel pennies, or even AG Mercury dimes or Buffalo nickels. The reactions of recipients are worth it, and if they'd return them in change - so much the better!

Hand them out to young collectors at coin shows, like me!

It would be a nice surprise to them to get a free proof coin.
