Although it dose say it's the "12th DOLLAR RELEASED FROM 1ST 100 EVER COINED AT DENVER MINT THOMAS ANNEAR SUPT.", but would that make it worth almost $20k?

I think I have seen this coin mentioned in the forum here somewhere. If not then online. I guess this price tag is like that of a art price tag and it is subjected to whoever is buying it and what they are willing to pay for it.

I see the coin as being highly collectable, but not at that price. I have purchased coins from the dealer, and he is a fair and honest. He may be doing a little adverting on ebay as these high end coins often end up at the major auction houses.

I'm surprised PCGS didn't give it a waiver and put it in a "First Strike" slab (for a nominal fee of course!).

So does the mispelled RELEASED as REEEASED add value as an "error coin?"
