scstrawn Pillar of the Community United States 536 Posts	Posted 07/19/2015 4:02 pm The key for Indian Heads (in lower grades) is the headband. You have to be able to see at least one letter in "LIBERTY" to get a VG-08. You've got full rims and clear devices so at least G-04. The devices are clear so I'd bump it to G-06, but there is plenty of signs of cleaning (in the little bits inside the letters is still grungy) and other really shiny bits. With little opportunity to inspect. I had never bought IHC before so thought it was an opportunity to search and learn. Lesson learned and it really shows the value in inspecting and photographing. Oh, and there was a Liberty Seated dime in the bag which I saw and really wanted, so all good.. Report this Post to the Staff
