This is coming along VERY nicely~!! Keep up the great job and we always love looking at the pics! My 7070 isn't getting any love at all this year. My coin piggy bank has been spent on other purchases but hopefully next year I can at least get a few new coins for mine. All the "easy" ones are in there and only the more expensive ones remain. Keep us posted!!

Looking good, Mister Kairu! I am itching to start a 7070 myself. The first thing I've got to do is acquire the 7070 lol.

Progress. Keep up the good work. You are catching up with me. I feel you will probably finish yours before I do.

I don't know about that jbuck. Those Seated Liberty dollars and some of the large cents are going to take a couple years to save up for. But we will see. Thanks all!

I agree with the others ... Off to a really good start.
Also ... You know this collecting really is a sickness, when you see other collectors albums and want to fill the empty holes ......

Exactly! Or in my case see other's albums and have them fill the holes with the awesome coins they have too... ;P but we will get there eventually!

Making some good progress with some nice looking coins in there! Just curious, why do you have a State Quarter in the clad 1965- slot?

Nice. Maybe you should go to ebay and buy a 1909 VDB and the more common ones.

Well I like the designs for the ATB Quarters a lot better than the state ones, and since I have moved a couple times am not convinced on which state I would want to put in there. So I have the Hawaii volcanoes and the Mount Hood are my two favorite designs. As for the 1909 I bought one for my mom last year but yeah I may have to look for that one. Will be nice having a couple in there that aren't super expensive so I am not left with the massively expensive ones.

Quote: Large Cents aren't that hard imo. They are certainly cheaper than Seated dollars The two I have were certainly affordable. It is the other two that are a bit more difficult, especially if I want them without corrosion or damage. But yes, I will probably be able to buy both of those remaining large cents for less than one of the two Seated dollars.

Great set! I need to start one myself. Not looking forward to paying for the 3-figure pieces though. Always fun finding a way to finance things like that.

Yup has been mostly birthday/xmas money, plus we try to budget $20 a month for pocket money for my wife and I. So after a year and a half I should be good for getting a nice Seated dollar. :D

Well, I have been working on the 7070 since 1993, so if takes five years the save for the last five pieces, so be it.
