Which U.S. Classic era coins do you wish actually existed?
As a Capped Bust enthusiast I'd say Capped Bust Dollars.
There are a lot of great patterns out there too like the large size cents that resemble the Flying Eagle but are a bit different. Edited by Joe2007 09/08/2015 11:11 pm

Barber dollars would be interesting.
When you were talking about fantasy coins, I thought you mentioned the year. 1933 quarters would be pretty neat.
Yet alone a 1922 (P) proof set.

Half Unions would be pretty neat. Closest we ever got was the Panama $50, which is a pretty epic coin in and of itself.

I would like an 1815 Classic large cent.

I know I'm breaking the rules a bit, but I'd like to see a 2009 S VDB with a wheatback reverse.

I love the classic gold designs and wouldn't trade them for anything, but a Barber/Morgan styled gold coin would look pretty neat.

A little off topic, but I always wished the mint would make fractional silver eagles like the Libertads. Maybe do a seated liberty for the 1/2 ounce, bust for the 1/4 ounce and Mercury dime for the 1/10th ounce. One can dream. The mint would make a killing if they did that

Quote: The mint would make a killing if they did that You're not kidding. Look at the markup on the factional gold coins! But I agree those would be cool. Let's go the other direction - how about a 5-oz. ASE? Shouldn't be hard to do considering the ATB pucks.

I am a large cent collector and really like the idea of 1815 LC Cent..,But how about a Classic Head Dollar? I think that would be pretty cool.
