Look at the bright side, you can learn about coins while using the bathroom.

That would be interesting to have, and quite a conversation piece. They called the 1911 V nickels silver in the description, though- sounds like the seller isn't exactly a collector.

I am thinking of joining the Society for the Preservation of Wooden Toilet Seats. I guess they may ask the Mint to have an NCLT issue for their Centenary of Inauguration. The Seat of Law and Justice, or the Seat of Government. In Great Britain, the Royal Privy ! Beware of splinters.

Creative, in a numismatic artistic way. If your home is broken into, explaining to the police that the thief also stole your toilet seat, priceless.

Beware of splinters. My grandmother owns a cabin in the Cascades which we spend a few nights at periodically. It's a kind of log cabin that is built from a kit, and is actually the exact cabin that was displayed at the Seattle World's Fair in 1968 before it was purchased and taken piece by piece into the mountains. Anyway, the bathroom has a wood toilet seat. No splinter problems so far! HOLLYWOOD, I'm surprised there are so many of these for sale.

I'd prefer the non-circulating toilet seat, please.

I never saw it myself but I worked for a bank in high school in the early 70's and there was a rumor at the bank that the President had an acrylic toilet seat in the master bathroom with Morgan dollars.

Now we need to see someone build in flashing LEDs so you don't have to turn on the light at night to find it.

I bought one of those at an auction for $100 and resold it for $300 at my antique mall booth I had a couple years ago. I think they started making coin filled Lucite toilet seats during the 70s. Not sure if they still do. I've seen one with all bills too
