Did 50 rolls last night with following results:

20 - Pre-60's
included a BU 1956 which I used to upgrade my book with.

No war or indians in this box. Have another to go through tonight.

Nice find Chuckster! No Brinks for me today but rounded up another 75 Customer wrapped rolls. Very low amount of pre 1960 (around 12). I did score 1 War Nickel (1943S) and 2 very nice MAD's.

Thanks to CND for offering the detailed year/mm summary at 12,500 rolls. That is very helpful to me as I compare find rates ....... so far we are tracking quite close and it gives me encouragement that I will someday finish my quest.

I did note of interest CND that you found another 1990d no designer initials in your latest report ........ since you mentioned this variety a while back I have been looking ..... but none yet.

Great score Chuckster ...... that surely beats my best Buffalo find. What a joy to come across something like this in circulation.

Last night I passed through 3,000 rolls (120,000 coins) ..... I'll submit my usual 10,000 coin rate summary just as soon as life slows down.

Love the buffalo's. I found a 1923 last night. That makes 9 since the beginning of August when I started doing nickels.

Nice score on the 1915-S, and great photography. I found a 1940-s last night which I needed for my folder. I'm not quite as far along as most people on this thread as I still have 16 holes to fill.

120 rolls today! ( String box, 37 Brinks & 33 Customer wrapped) Yielded 54 pre 1960, 3 War Nickels (43S,45P,45D) and 2 dateless Buffalo (one appears to have been plated in the past and the other is an S mint). The String box yielded 2-1938 nickels. I've been heavily searching nickels for months and these are the first 2 and they came from same box!

Gothic_Florin: It's very admirable that you're pulling your set from circulation. I was impatient and had to drop a few bucks on the tough dates. Once complete, your set will have a great story behind it.

CND: Amazing work! The data alone is awesome. When I need a roll-searching fix, I just check your reports!

Nice find, hockingzig! I really think that the 2009d is going to be the toughest of the four for you to find!

I agree! I am not really worried about that one though,if I find the other 3 I need I will consider the set complete and hope to pick one up in change or rolls sometime down the road. I do feel like I will find the 3 I need real soon. January 2010 will be the one year mark for nickel roll searching so it would be cool if I found the 3 I need before mid-January rolls around!

Gothic,
I am doing a circulation set (38-61) also. I have 8 holes to go. Started in August. The 50D is going to be the hard one...
