Here's a shinplaster I've always been proud to show, there're very few repeater, rotator notes even printed in this series. All comments welcome. Cheers, Bill

I'll add another: Thanks for sharing.
Never saw a note like that. It's a nice piece of history and the number -- too cool.

Thanks to all for the kind comments. I've only seen one other Rotator from this series, there doesn't seem to be a very high survival rate but again there were very few even printed.
There are indeed 31 rotator serial numbers in the shinplaster series, but each number represents a sheet of 10 notes one for each check letter, so there were 310 shinplaster rotators printed.

I also have a three digit radar and a two digit radar but I do favour this one the most.
Cheers, Bill

Dollarman, you've reminded me that I also have a consecutive odd Pair in the safety deposit box at the bank. The serial numbers are 450405 and 450407 I never wrote down the check letter. Here are the serial numbers for the radar shinplasters I referred to earlier: 385583 229922 Another shinplaster I've put away and saved has the serial number 604997 can anyone figure out why I was interested in this number and saved this note?
I'll have to take the camera to the bank and take some pictures of the notes I have in there. I haven't seen them in years.
John100, I agree it's a great number but I'd like to get my hands on serial number 696969, it's a two digit repeater rotator.

Good guess but no cookie. It's not really a fair question as you would really have to be into shinplasters to even know. It's a very close number to the signature changeover, this is the fourth last note to be issued with McCavour-Saunders signatures. Note number 605001-700000 have the Campbell-Clark signature combination. It's becoming very popular to collect changeover notes both signature changeovers and date changeovers.
Cheers, Bill
