Hi everyone, here is an interesting one If you turn the cent just right you can make out the faintest outline of a 7 as the last digit. At first I thought Grease Filled Die but then looking at the lettering, it is stronger on the obverse left while weaker on the right; the reverse has the "O" missing in One Cent and the same faint, intermittent lettering on the back. Thoughts?

I was thinking grease-filled die, too -- because of the randomness of the missing devices.

I'm not convinced it is all Struck Through Grease related. If possible would like to see full straight on pics of obverse and reverse. Also weight if possible. Thanks, Doug.

Very nice find very nice Greaser could it also be a weak strike too?

Because of the strength of the strike in other areas, Greaser seems the most likely. Nice catch.

I was going to post that I have a very similar coin from the year 194, but BlueSolo beat me to it!
