I didn't know where to post this, but wanted to show it to someone, otherwise, what's the point?

All you need is the right picture, three uncirculated coins, and the right coin capsules.

Way Cool! I love it! Is the 1996 a W? I will keep a sharp eye out for the Kennedy. Will you do the same for Lincoln, Jefferson, etc.?

This is a better photo, although it's still an iPad shot.

What-To-Do-On-An-Icy-Day?

I used to be a pro photographer, so in the back of my mind was a seed that I might eventually try to sell these at a coin show. So when I actually got down to doing it, I went online and bought tubes of 1946, 1971, and 1996 (but tubes of the West Point dimes were over $600 and aren't even silver, so they're generic P/D). I'm making the first few with the W mints that I have on hand.

Other presidents? Maybe...

Let me ask you two questions. If you saw this at a show, how much would you expect it to be priced? And second, how much would you actually pay?

At a show? Maybe $10 with a 1996 P/D, $20 with the 1996 W. You should do the Lincoln Cent and the Kennedy half.

Anyhow, I got a 1996 W for $5 once with no negotiating in MS65 condition.

Kennedy is next. I already have the photo I want to use, and I already bought the halves. All I need now are the right capsules, a new blade in my Exacto-compass, and I'm good to go.

Lincoln could be tricky: you can usually find a decent VDB with little effort, but the prices fluctuate. One day they're $20, then $40.
