1974 Kennedy Half - Die Deterioration

SilverDon Pillar of the Community Canada 2360 Posts	Posted 02/19/2016 12:38 pm I was into my local antique store and found this 1974 Kennedy half. It has some serious Die Deterioration. The flow lines in the fields are significant. We had something similar called a starburst error on some Canadian Coins not sure if this is the same thing. The lines are radial. The IN GOD WE TRUST areas seem most affected, but the whole coin on both obverse and reverse displays the same grooves and legend features.
