A truly amazing collection!
It will take a while but it can be very interesting to go through a collection that size.
If you haven't already, I recommend getting a Charlton Standard Catalogue for the Canadian coins. A lot of the information can be found here if you do not want to buy the book: http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-grading.php
Most of the dates you've listed are fairly common but there is a chance that there are some rare varieties included in the set. That 1923 small cent is a rare key date and can be worth a lot in high grades. Those 1953 5 cent pieces have some rare/expensive varieties. Handle the coins by the rims, the oils from your fingers can leave marks on the coins. Do not attempt to clean/rub/wipe the coins as this can damage them.
Many people here can help you if you have any questions about a specific coin such as grade or worth. You've come to the right place!

I should also mention that all the Canadian coins (besides the 1 cent and 5 cent pieces) that are 1967 and earlier are made of silver.

You have spent an enormous amount of time getting these listed and you are only missing one key element in determining value.

You have made some effort to list coins that look especially nice, but you are still not listing a grade. Learning to grade takes most folks years to do it with proficiency. I would recommend that you seek out a coin club. There would surely be some folks at those meetings who would enjoy helping you.

Without grades we don't know if you have a $1 coin or a $50 coin.

As far as the U.S., you have lots of silver which will always be of value.

Good luck with your fun. Hopefully you are intending to keep this marvelous selection.

The 1943-D U.S. cent is it steel? $0.01 Unable to read the date, but appears to be a 1840's penny cast on nickel with the mold not set properly and appears "oozing" - nothing on other side, can you post a photo?

a few of the coins coins are graded professionally

Do you mean that they are sealed in plastic slabs? If so, you should list the names of the grading company along with the grade and any other comments. Many collectors tend to have our more valuable coins slabbed.

WOW! That collection is huge. As for the US coins the only key date that I spotted is the 1949 Roosevelt dime. I'm not as familiar with the pre WWII coins and their key dates. As for the Jefferson nickels, keep a lookout for 1939-D and 1950-D key dates. The 1964 US mint set might have a possibility of being slightly higher in value. I do not know anything about coins from other countries or anything about currency.

Keep this collection together until you are absolutely certain you know what you want to do with it. Keep checking in with this forum for advise, we are all happy to answer questions.

Wow, big collection to list.
Slow as I am typing it would have taken me days to post this..
I agree, one would have to know grades before one could give you a value.

There is a small but very dedicated collector base for the Canadian Trade dollars. I know at least one member on here collects them extensively.

Check the US coins against mintage figures (listed on the Wikipedia page for each denomination) or pick up an old copy of the RedBook or blackbook--you don't have any new commemoratives, so there is no point in getting the latest edition. I would get 2007 or 2008--silver prices now are about the same as they were then. From what you posted, you have a large amount of "junk silver" and a few better dates.

The 1964 10 kroner is worth more than the rest of the "world" coins combined--most of those are very common, except for the silver which you called out.

The notgeld notes could be interesting--those are not my area, but anything notgeld sells well on ebay.

Interesting collection. You have your work cut out to put grades on the coins, so you can arrive at a value. In most collections 10% of the coins make up 90% of the value. You also have some Buffalo nickels mislabeled from 1906 to 1911 as the coins are most likely V nickels. The Buffalo nickel was not minted until 1913. You have a 1931 S Buffalo nickel that is a better date.

Thanks everyone... I've actually found this site to be quite helpful on the grading with the images and things to look for if a coin is to attain a specific grade... Once I have everything into the 2x2 packages, I'll start taking a serious look at it all, but cursory, I figured most ranged between Fine and Extremely Fine...
