Today was my lucky day as my step dad had to come pay us a visit to get some things. While he stopped by, he brought over around 150$ worth of dollars and half dollars for me to count, which is always exciting because he always seems to get the most crazy stuff. This time it was the best yet! This was the result of a few months of accumulation. It's a good thing he likes me a lot, since he saved some silver quarters and times for me as well. From what I have heard from him before he says it's just change lol. Can you believe some people still spend morgans and Peace dollars?! I nearly fell out of my chair when I noticed I had THREE of them! Also, I also found 15 Ikes and 15 SBAs as well. I'm going to be sad that when I move next month that I won't get to pick out free silver like this anymore .

Whoa, that's amazing! They're in great shape too. Love the toning on the dollars and that 1962? quarter, and the luster on the Morgan? Make sure you give him your forwarding address

Very nice haul! Right out of college, I could not get a job in my degree field - mainly due to there not be anything other than service industry jobs where I was living at the time. I worked one of those service industry jobs full-time, and did graveyards at a convenience store full-time. My rule of thumb was to always have enough money in my locker for the inevitability that you get those "special" people you only see on a graveyard shift, who would come in with all sorts of interesting things. For a period of an entire month, I had a guy who would come in two or three times a week and would buy a pack of cigarettes with a roll of dimes. A roll of Mercury dimes. Last two times he did it, they were Barber rolls. Unfortunately, he quit coming in before he got to the Seated Liberty dimes. Did manage the odd score, usually someone wanting to pay with an "old coin that I am not sure I can still spend". They usually were the odd Franklin half or Peace dollar. Nothing ever as spectacular as all of those rolls of silver dimes, though. Sure, they were mostly filler, but I was young and easy-to-please. My wife would confirm that I am neither of those two things, anymore.

Hard to believe, but it's true that only 70 or so years ago, this is what you'd find in pocket change.
