My First Ever Proof Set! [1978 US Clad Proof Set]

I've got plans to save up money for later this year, when I am able to possibly get a 2016 US Silver Proof Set. Why is this sudden proof thing here? Cause, my dad showed me his 1776-1976 (Bicentennial) Silver Proof Set and 2003 Silver Proof Set! Anyways, I did get a surprise, and it is a 1978 US Proof Set! It is a clad proof set, but I did some research and there were no silver proofs I know of made in 1978 (1992 was the first year of the present day 90% silver proof sets). It has the Lincoln Penny, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter, Kennedy half dollar, and jbuck's favorite, an Eisenhower dollar! Yes, your research is correct 1992 is the first year of modern 90% silver proof sets. I have one of each of those in my collection as well as other proof / mint sets. Enjoy!
