Nice coin in any grade

That seems to be the co in most Mercury dime collectors need.
Including me.

Typically on the "fantasy coins" as I call them, my budget only allows me to acquire them in low grades.

If it were mine it would have been freed from the slab by now.

Very nice!

It's just a tough resell raw should I ever let it go down the road. Too many faked. I might be in the minority but I really like slabs. I'm a huge fan of them.

And at least when they're slabbed, there's no controversy about authenticity! Great coin!

Ah, the resell. I have no intention to ever sell my coins.

However, if I selling were ever my concern then I would agree that keeping it in the slab makes sense.

I "hope" I don't have to either, but on the stuff that gets frequently counterfeited or high dollar, I just like the piece of mind.

I do have plenty of raw coins, I usually just keep those at $100 and under as a general rule
