Nice. You need to get a Dan Carr 2009 proof ASE for that empty hole though

And what's up with the 92 & 93? Those are the "key" dates to the proof series. Or is it 93 & 94?

93 p and 94 p are the keys. The 93 p looks weird due to the light it's a blazing gem just bad angle of light

Just fantastic! Are you buying silver or are you a collector? I might buy some bags of junk silver, but I have 5 silver eagles as well and full set of silver Roosevelt dimes and Washington quarters. I like silver coins. I have about 50 Morgans in a Dansco set I am working on but they are getting more expensive by a big factor as I work on CC's and 1890's 1900 series. Some I know I can never afford in anything but VF if I am lucky. I don't want really ugly coins.

I am mostly certified coin collecting...I have albums of everything...from pennies to dollars...I have a complete set of regular silver eagles in another dansco as well. Sets like morgans, Washington quarters, basically major silver sets I only buy certified. Got a complete set of certified franklins, missing the 30's for the Washington quarters. In retrospect I am a collector but also an investor...I am 28 and plan on keeping my coins for a good while...

Beautiful coins. I like the look of the silver proof coins but my budget doesn't allow me to buy the ASE proofs.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful sets to see in an album. Congrats on such a fine looking set. I don't have a full set, and mine are still in OGP. However, I do have a 2009 DC. I figured I wanted to have a "full run for when I do get them organized and finished off (dreaming maybe).

No 2009 proof? Fill that hole. That's like having an empty stall in your corvette collection for the 1983. Jest sayin'.

Proof coins don't have (or shouldn't have) luster. (Some proofs struck with worn dies that should be retired will start to show luster.)

First of all, congrats. That is one nice set! Stupid idea, but how about just filling the 2009 hole with a regular 2009 eagle? It's probably the closest you can get with 'official' coins, I guess, and it shows the difference with the proof coins very well.
