Snapped a quick pic with my phone....hope it's clear and well lit enough. Just home from work...late & tired, but really want some opinions on this coin.

Looks like Good-4 detail, but appears cleaned, with some kind of environmental damage. Maybe a metal-detecting find that suffered a harsh cleaning? The upper-right obverse especially shows significant diagonal hairline scratches and loss of detail.

PCGS shows a value of $90 in G-4 but I'd value this piece much lower, maybe $25-30 as a hole-filler.

Too harsh? I know it's a tough date.....

No I want honest opinions. ...lol
This was my moms coin...my grandpa's before her.
My grandpa was a metal detector hunter....so, I'm not surprised if it was found in the dirt and/or cleaned. (He wouldn't have known better)

So... $25.00 or so ?....hmm...oh well, I'm still pleased to have a key that I wouldn't otherwise be able to afford to buy.
Rest in Peace

G-06, possibly details. It would sell for ~$60 on ebay.
