I have come into possession of many sealed, uncirculated boxes of Presidential dollar coins (J. Adams and Jefferson). I don't want to mess with ebay, but I don't know how to go about locating a reputable dealer who might be interested in making a deal. Anyone have any recommendations?

The logical place to start is at your nearest coin shop. If they are not interested, they might well know of a another dealer who could be.

My previous experience with these dollars is that nobody wanted them.

I just spent all of them.

It would be nice for you if you can get more than face value.

I agree. It would probably be best to just deposit them. The time spent looking for a buyer will not be covered by the slim premium you might get.

I agree ... That most dealers will not pay above face for rolls of
Presidential dollars.

I would break the rolls open and check for errors. Missing or double
edge letter errors.

Then just spend them or dump at the bank.

Diogenes just wanted an honest man. He probably had the easier quest.
