It's in decent condition. Just one heavy fold in center. Anything special here?

Banknote collectors have decided that certain uncommon sequences and patterns are "interesting". For example there are only 10,000 "radar" notes for any particular letter combination (out of a possible 100 million possibilities. This has three different numbers in no particular pattern or order, and undoubtedly quite a few more than 10,000. So in deciding if something is "interesting", you have to think of how many similar ones there are.

This is notwithstanding that every serial number is unique!

Agree not worth saving, but I'm always interested to hear what xxJOExx has to say about this sort of thing - really.

Wait, wait - read backward, this could be a birth note for a really proud person born in 1968 - 68 (!) 06/06/68.

Finally getting the hang of this birth note thing!

I save a lot of modern currency found in circulation but with all due respect I wouldn't hold it ... I'd fold it (in my wallet).

The $20 note, no.

But the by-line by @TypeCoin971793 is remarkable.

Some will loosely consider this a bookend or repeater. 86-6060-86 (86 bookends the middle portion) or 86-60-60-86 (technically a repeating pattern). $1's with similar serials *can* command a very tiny premium from *some* collectors (I've seen similar notes go for $2-$3). With that said, I'd consider it a spender. Any denomination > $1 has to be *really* spectacular for me to consider hanging on. And now you've got my 2¢.
