I have a new iPad Pro 9.7 coming this week and I have been checking out
possible software I can use on it.

Hoping CCF members might recommend a photo editor that will crop
and re-size pictures to upload to CCF.

The iPad will not be use as my primary set up, just as a option if I happen
to take coin picture away from home.

The new iPad is suppose to have a good camera.

Also looking at spreadsheet apps .....

There is a native Photos app included on the iPad as part of iOS but I haven't really done much with it ever. There is also Google Photos which works pretty well for basic stuff although I still tend to go to my PC for photo editing.

Thanks Ken

I will check out those apps when I get the iPad ....was in Ohio at midnight.

I am hoping it is moving today.

Although my pictures are not that good ... I use also do most of them on the PC.

I was thinking .. As long as I have the iPad ... it would be nice to ust it if needed.

I haven't used the native iPad photo app for crop or resize, but have used the utility included in the forum software to crop and resize photos for posting. It works ok on the iPad. PC based photo editing software is more robust.

I generally crop and edit photos on my iPhone before mailing it to the laptop for final editing. I prefer to do it this way; maintains the details better for a smaller pic file size.

Thanks for the move Jbuck ....

It looks like the iPads will come today.

I am sure taking picture with my DSLR and editing on my PC, will
give me my best results. But there are time, when I am out of the house,
that I take pictures with my iPad. If there is a app that works ok with
the iPad Pro, I would like to have it.

I don't have an iPad to give specific suggestions, but I have downloaded the free Aviary app to my Android smart phone. It does fairly well, but there is a small learning curve.
