Another coin I am looking at today

Pros .. very good detail
Cons - Old cleaning and hit on reverse

Could not get coin out of air-tite with out breaking air-tite.
Can't break air tire unless I buy it.

Pictures with IPad

Hm I also have the air-tite dilemma with a Libertad I put in there. Hope I can get it out safely. Anyways in my novice opinion it seems XF details. The cleaning seems a little too harsh for my tastes. Good luck!

. This is a common date of a common type. Unless this were just dirt cheap at $40-$50 I wouldn't consider it, and even then I'd have to think twice.

Once you put these coins in your collection you wish you had waited for a better example every time you see it. At least I have.

Another AU50 details and would probably pass on it. In addition to the cleaning, it looks pretty badly scratched at around 2:00 on the reverse. Sometimes they look worse in a close up photo, so maybe it is better in hand.

I don't like this coin to be blunt. Has a strong cleaned look and those scratches put it in the "no" column for me.
Rest in Peace

GR58, a no luster coin. Interesting pictures though.
You used your IPad. What was your set-up?

I ended up buying this coIn in a bundle of thre half dollars.

Learned that from Frank

By buying all three together .. made this a very low price.

------------------------

For the picture.
There is good light coming through the windows of the LCS.
One LED light coming at ..about 45 degree
Cropped it with app PS Express
Used CCF Optimizer to get the file size down

Sometimes I get lucky.

I do need to say .. this coin looks much better in hand than the pictures

Don't really like this one. XF/AU-Details. It would have to be a real bargain to overcome the glaring problems.
