I found this at the bottom of a box of stamps, so I'm guessing my grandpa wasn't too excited about it. I'm thinking it's a cull or close to it, but since even at the lowest grade it would be worth a few bucks, I want expert opinions. Thanks!

Not a great coin but, a hard date to find, probably that's why your grandfather kept it.
A G-06 detailed coin.
Is that a 'dent' on the obverse or?

Are you talking about the nose? Yeah, that's a ding. There are several on the rims as well.

Sorry for the photo quality. I'm working on a way to do better.

And by the way, I think he pretty much kept anything that was old. I get it with the silver, but he also had some Liberty nickels that are barely recognizable. LOL.

It's pretty rough, VG details, but it would still fetch ~$50 on ebay.

Thanks, guys! I was thinking that I FINALLY found a coin among my grandpa's things that was as close to a key date as I might get and it was gonna be a cull, so you made my day!

I'll keep you in mind, GR58.
