Couldn't resist this Bank of Montreal issued UnSous cracked planchet. Should go nicely with her sister "lamination".

You got me to checking my two 1837's, neither one had any error I could tell, nor does my 1850 jewelry ready piece, darn!

The BANK OF MONTREAL is listed by Charlton as LC 8a3 which is Courteau 5.
grade F 12.

The BANK TOKEN is listed by Charlton as LC 2a2 which is Courteau 9.
grade solid VF 20 / VF 30 would be a bit of a stretch.

Both are common varieties of the series.
Neither the lamination nor planchet crack should detract from the value.
