7070 is the Dansco album number for a US Type Set. FYI - 7100 is Lincoln Cents

As stated above 7070 refers to the Dansco US Type Album. Each type of album has its own unique number. The 7070 has been discontinued for a few years now and is becoming semi-scarce. With the high demand from many collectors its value has gone way up and now usually costs $50 or more from sites such as ebay.

I've been collecting coins for 45 years, and I'd never heard of one either, until I joined this forum. So don't feel bad.

If you don't know it's a Dansco album you could wander around the interwebs forever and never find it.

It is a Dansco album, as everyone has said. Don't worry about asking questions.

herbaby!

Many of us have a 7070 in some form of completion.
Mine isn't even close to being finished but it's a fun journey!

An obvious typo, but it did make me chuckle a little.

Tbone, same with me!

Yes, a 7070 is a dansco type set, which is getting rare to find!

I never heard of that before I joined CCF. Its an internal lingo thing. Like "oh how's your 7070 going? 5x5 man, better than 2x2's"

It was a typo on my part, I only now went back to read and saw it. You can't edit after one day, oh well.
