Hey all, was wondering what you would grade this coin? Does it look original? It seems to be an EDS, can anyone confirm? What would you say its value is?

Nice find. I was recently going through a pile of 1955s my Dad has and was hoping to find one of these.

I was thinking EF-40, possibly EF-45.

First of all, that is a really cool coin and I love the photographs!

It certainly seems to meet the ANA Grading Standards for EF-40 (Bressett & Bowers, 2006, p. 95).

Comparing this coin to the images on PCGS Photograde, it looks similar to AU-50. I'm not saying I necessarily agree with Photograde examples, but it could slab at AU-50 perhaps.

That is unbelievable . I'm glad for you ,but I disagree with PCGS on that grade . I would have stretched it to a 45 disregarding all the minor issues on that coin .
Good pickup .
