The coin from the recent Heritage auction came yesterday. So which coin would you keep? The PCGS 65 Brown or the ICCS 63 RB? I am pretty sure I know what I am going to do. PCGS Coin: ICCS Coin:

I'd say ICCS but bigger pics would be better.

tough choice, in my heart I would say the RB, because it looks nicer. however it wont stay RB, and at some time it would be just brown. so you may loose money.

It's hard to tell with the pics for me but it looks like the PCGS coin has a better strike on the obverse.

I'd think the PCGS obverse has a better strike too but can't tell because of the blown out pics. But I'd keep the ICCS and even send it in to PCGS if you want it slabbed. At $32 USD, it's not much compared to the value of the coin

ANY high red or RB coin should be encapsulated to retain the color.

PCGS coin - in my opinion, quality of the strike and a clean surface trump colour....

Yup... I think PCGS would grade mine as MS-63 Red...

I think I will figure out how to get my ICCS coin to PCGS and then decide.
