@srs77, other than being a little light in your purchases of ancient coins, it looks to me like you are doing pretty well so far this year.

Thanks all, to answer..
Yes the wife knows about the haul... She's a saint and knows I only spend what I can afford so she's really ok with it. No dollars? well that's correct but, I've got a complete set of Peace and I'm only about 8 shy on the morgan collection. I also have a complete Eisenhower and Anthony collection. Not really into the modern dollars. Walkers I'm definitely short on and need to get more active there. As far as the ancients are concerned, I just started getting interested in them. Before I go crazy there I want to educate myself on them and this place is AWESOME for that!
Thanks again everyone!

I should have been a little more specific - no '21 Morgans? You were on a roll there for a while with some cool VAM's. You did start me wondering about my own purchases since Jan. 1st. Much more than I was thinking but still below target.

Dave, great point... yes I especially am always on the lookout for 1921 Morgans. Especially 21-D, I just love doing the research on the vams for those but unfortunately none so far this year. But the year is young!

I just recently missed the auction closing on a 21-D that was a JOH. It only went for $28 so I was slightly upset with myself for missing it. I'm with you though, always on the lookout for an interesting '21.

Slow down and you will get better coins by being more selective. I picked up two coins this year. 1880 MS 64+ PL and a 1913 Barber quarter MS 64 CAC.
