I saw a story on the news yesterday where folks couldn't identify the person on the US cent. I'm betting those same people would doubt that any of your coins were ever produced in the US.

For those who want to see or share their pocket pieces, there is this thread...

As for what I do with mine. Well, I no longer carry one.

However, when I did (many years ago) I would take it out and fiddle with it. Usually when I was bored, in a class, or both.

Sometimes I would just set it on the corner of the desk and stare at it.

And yes, if you were wondering, my pocket piece was indeed an Eisenhower dollar.

I simply keep mine (1968-S Kennedy half, birth year and home town) in my pocket. I'll occasionally flip it as I'm walking around the office -- it has that nice silver "ping" when I do, but I'm always afraid that one of these days I'm going to drop it and it will slide under a locked door or fall into one of the vents in the floor. At least it's a piece I can easily replace.

I have considered carrying additional pieces but I don't want to introduce additional wear/contact marks. Most of the time, my piece is the only thing in the pocket so it's held up pretty well.

Din't have one. I only ever kept one coin on me - an emergency phone all dime in my wallet for the no-I-am-NOT-avaialble-24/7 days (so nice) before cell phones.

I have a proof dollar I carry as a pocket piece (now an extremely impaired proof). I keep it with my pocket change and take it out when I pay for things. Occasionally someone notices and says "what's that!". I usually give it to them to look at. It's nice to share a moment with people and talk about coins.

Currently I carry a CuNi 1976 Ike, CuNi 1976 half and a 40% Ag 1976 quarter. the larger pieces are for wearing down the quarter. I have in the past carried Morgan for a while until I misplaced it while changing pants

my current pocket piece is a worn Standing Liberty quarter, and it just rumbles around with other pocket change.

My current pocket pieces include a British 1977 crown, a random worn Norwegian 5 kroner (also 1977, I think), a New Zealand silver 3 pence, a Ukrainian 1 hryvnia 2012 commemorating the UEFA Cup, a Zaire coin (can't recall which one), and a bunch of other assorted stuff.

All in the same pocket, mixed in with the normal pocket change, and occasionally taken out, either for show and tell, or just for me to look at.

The British and Ukrainian coin were put there because I wanted to know what they will look like worn down (still waiting), the coins from Norway and Zaire were just dirty and I hoped they'd clean up that way (spoiler: they didn't, and I'm considering taking the Norwegian coin out). Not sure why I included the rest.
Considering getting a 25 ruble commemorative, and/or a large silver of some kind. (Tried to carry a Walking Liberty half for one day, took it out in the evening because it was getting ugly.)

[EDIT: clarified some descriptions]
