What are you using to fill your album holes to indicate TPG proof coins? I'm thinking blank planchets but I'm open to other ideas. Thank you in advance for your thoughts or solutions.

I don't understand the problem. I just put all proofs in the slots for proofs.

If common post 70's Memorial proofs, I agree with Carl - I'm sure not cracking out wheat cents or 60's Memorials to stick in an album.
What albums have slots/openings for proof Lincolns?

Hi Nick...you can cut out a circle the size of a Lincoln and type up a small label.

I am doing that with my 7070.

I fill with blank planchets with a note/label, but for some denominations I just stick the note/label in the spot.
Rest in Peace

If I don't have an actual proof coin to fill hole, I put cent sized cardboard w/ info on what/where/grade coin is, in safe or deposit box, in slab/set etc. Us cardboard because paper has tendency to slide away, worthless. Then I cross-reference by labeling slab/set w/ notation of designated space in event sales of entirety if my idiot relatives can't finger it out!

I cracked my proof sets to fill those holes. Honestly, if we are talking modern proofs only, they are cheap enough to get raw and fill the holes properly. No shame in having duplicates. I am building a slabbed set of Ikes to compliment the raw set in the Dancso.

I'm doing something similar for my $1 US notes collection... I have a few graded ones but I'm still buying raw examples (when the price is right) to put in my album so that there are no empty holes. For this particular collection it's not cost-prohibitive.

I saw in another post recently that they use the bronze cent-sized medallion that come in certain mint sets to fill their album holes for a quick reference to indicate that they own the coin that goes in the hole.

They said they are struck on cent sized planchets so should fit the hole perfectly

ebay sold items show that you can get 100 of these for under $10 shipped.

Yep, that's exactly what I did in my Lincoln set (only have 2 slabs). I have several P and D mint tokens, but no S (wish I had one S).

I use the mint tokens. Then print a round label.
