Apparently it's a Apollo 11 moon landing commemorative coin from 1969... or so says the examples on the bay... just find it an interesting coin!

...yes, I had to have one for how odd it is. I still look at it and think...really?

Oh...not about the reason it was made, but the design. Why a triangle? Why the transparent covering integrated into the REV? Why that specific blue (it is blue-ish in hand)?

I thought this was funny and found a listing with two!
So now I got moon money too. LOL
I wonder who made them and why besides the hoopla of the landing? I remember where I was at the time I watched them land, do you? I hope they are from 1969.

Improper storage and after a few years, that might bring out the cheddar on it.
