edit #2 - going back to my first impression:
Those look like roller marks with the lines so even. May be more than face value to a specific collector of roller marks.

edit - I stand corrected, a woodie

I think on newer cents it is thought to be roller lines. I would like to know from coop or Mike, at what year can we say the woodies stopped and the roller lines started?

They are caused by an Improper Alloy Mix. You have a nice traditional Woody, worth up to $5.

I'm still thinking roller lines.

Even in Mike's theory he says, "in the conventional Improper Alloy Mixes the lines are wider and more variable in width". The OP's coin fits that description. Not that it matters though, because Improper Alloy Mixes and Roller Lines are only theories of possible causes of Woodys.

I'm going towards the roller lines. A big part of what I see in a Woodie are the color variations which (to me) make them so beautiful (aka the alloy mix being mixed improperly). Plus as already mentioned the lines themselves all being about the same instead of showing different designs/shapes (since I can't think of the word I want) that I would see in the Woodie.
