Just zoom in on it and tell me that is not a S mint mark. I'm convinced it is.
Remember it is worn possibly? But I see the S

There were only a few of these struck. I'm not seeing it on your coin. The mint mark would be raised, it not.

These were Proof Dimes, not business strike dimes. Yours is a circulated plain dime. No 'S' mint mark.

I'm sorry,But I'm not seeing it. The ribbon and the rim look mostly intact all the way around. The chances that just the MM was worn away while the rest of the devices stayed intact are very slim. Not impossible,But very slim.

I don't see anything. The mintmark will be raised off the field of the coin, not barely visible. Below is an example of how the mintmark should look like. Even if the coin is worn, the mintmark should be easily visible, with no doubts about whether the mintmark is there or not, unless the coin is in PO-01 condition, which this one is not.

Just looking at what is visible this is a dug up, cleaned coin that will show pitting of environmental corrosion due to soil. Any "bumps" or rough surfaces are that result....microscopically speaking. That is what is being seen at 20x

This coin is not what you hope it is, but keep searching. We have had folks report unbelievable but true super finds.

Someone learned today th at their junk coin was a $20 Gold piece worth at least $1200.

No S, there is sufficient detail in the area that the mintmark would still be quite bold.

I think I see what you're referring to. Even if was a worn mint mark it looks way too big to me. Bottom line - I agree with the others.
