I sold an item of small value on 1/13/18, as of this morning, I have received no response nor payment despite me sending two invoices, and a message... It really stinks that there is no way to flag this kind of buyer so that other sellers can be made aware of these people. CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Feel you. I have had that happen a few times.

Thanks, BigSilver. And as per my terms and conditions, they have to pay a 10% late fee per day late. I give them one full business day after the sale (not counting holidays) to pay. So, I just sent them a third invoice... So sick of this crap!

I quit leaving feedback about 6 months ago. I don't even look at my FB profile anymore. I sleep much better now.

If you're able, cancel the sale and relist the item. It's obvious this guy isn't going to pay.

Report as non paying customer. ebay boots them after a few such reports.

Report him to ebay, all you can do. Relist your item and hopefully get a higher price for it. Check your photos and descriptions, are you selling your item or just listing it? The right photos and descriptions makes a big difference.

I quit leaving feedback about 6 months ago. I don't even look at my FB profile anymore. I sleep much better now. I only leave feedback after they've left me positive feedback. Part of my terms and conditions are that I don't submit feedback until everything is complete on their end, including confirmed receipt of the item. More often than not, I don't end up leaving feedback. To me, it is completely useless in its current form. Quote:Report as non paying customer. ebay boots them after a few such reports. It is the principle more than anything else. I want to be able to leave this person negative feedback as a slow/non-payer, but I have no way to do that.

I agree....they don't qualify as a "buyer" until they pay for what they bought. ebay should allow negative feedback for those that do not follow through with their purchase.

hay John, sorry to point out the obvious but you can't charge people extra for paying late, you can't add on anything other the the final price and shipping/handling. all those terms and conditions you have listed on your ebay pages, non of them would be binding, ebay has it's own set of rules..

If it's a Buy it Now listing, and not an auction, you can require immediate payment through PayPal when they buy the item. That way you're never left hanging.

My Terms and Conditions are above and beyond ebay's, and they are legal and binding, as stated in said terms. I've only had to invoke the late fees twice before, and in both cases, the buyer gave me no issues in paying them.

Thanks, coinfrog and debrajc. I appreciate the support. Back in the old days, when Meg Whitman was running things at ebay, you could leave negative feedback for buyers. This dumb Devin Wenig person who runs things now has no clue what they're doing.
