Just Wondering About Quarters - Coin Community Forum

Even with this large quantity of quarters, you should be able to get the silver ones separated in a short time. Looking through all of those for errors and varieties could be quite a job! By the time you complete the set you'll probably start noticing varieties. Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps. Report this Post to the Staff

Was this an inherited collection? Are they in sealed bank rolls? So on and so forth. If it's someone's collection, there is likely rhyme or reason to it, and the coins would warrant closer attention. It sounds like you have at least one clipped coin, so that's a start. At a minimum search for silver, errors, and pull ultra-high grade eagle reverse coins, but the test is up to you. If you want a collection, I would echo that you should buy an album and fill it with the best of each date. If you want profit, honestly you may be better off just pulling the best handful of coins, dumping the rest into your bank account, and investing it in stocks while the market is low.
