No clue about this one, except the extra metal looks to be the same as the dime. Any thoughts?

I agree with @fuzzy that the disc of metal looks added (due to the extra soldering or braze material that shows along the periphery. Seems like an odd item to make into a pin--wonder why it was done?

I agree that it's Post Mint Damage, but it's a very cool form of it. It looks like art kinda. You can keep it if you want since it's interesting.

You can see the glue where it was added to the coin. At first I though it might have been a snap.
