Happy Friday guys, I wanted to celebrate and show off my newly assembled type set. This all started in 2015ish when my grandpa gave me a Littleton type set album. Some of the coins in here were given to me by him. They might not be high grade, or even grade straight, but they're pretty important to me. He had only a few coins, and to impress him, I'd made it my duty to finish. Today, I have. I've spent a lot, switched albums, and in my eyes it is totally worth it. I have put a lot of work into it, hope you all enjoy, and thank you for looking. Gold Type Set is also coming along strongly Sincerely, David Warning: Pic extensive thread

Wow ... that is absolutely impressive regardless of age. Sincere congratulations on a true collecting milestone.

Congrats on finishing it! I'm still working on mine. An impressive accomplishment at any age. Just some suggestions: - I would upgrade the No Motto Seated dollar. It doesn't have a readable date. - I would put a Sacagawea dollar in its respective hole, rather than a Presidential dollar.

Quote:What year is that Seated dollar without motto? It's an 1853. Would grade XF details damaged as there's a HUGE hit on the '3'. Readable just the pics suck lol. I got it for $160, and I'm pretty happy with it regardless. As for the Presidential in the Sac hole, personally I think they're both dollar coins and their difference isn't too large, so I stuck a proof Pres in to match with the page. When I'm at my local show again I'll def look for a Sacagawea.

Quote:- I would upgrade the No Motto Seated dollar. It doesn't have a readable date I wouldn't. He has a scarce date there if it can be identified. It's NOT a 59-O. Take your pick of the rest and they are all scarce and potentially very rare.

Well done @ploopy. I wonder, what is the date on your Draped Bust Large Cent?
