I once got a Bazooka Joe gum wrapper fortune that said
"To have a friend, you need to be a friend" and Toot, that you are. We are lucky to have this forum aren't we?

Thank you for all of the responses gentlemen! It's very much appreciated and taken to heart! I would like to keep this thread on going so any coin or token depicting a political campaign or any political coin for that matter, please post it! As long as it doesn't take away from TNG's on going thread!! Speaking of which, I have another one that I would like to post. I posted it on TNG's thread last week and (not taken away from his thread) I'd like to post it here. 1787 - 1937 Sesquicentennial medallion created to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Adoption of the U.S. Constitution. The medallion obverse features George Washington's portrait and a depiction of an American eagle and "We the People" on the reverse. Bronze medal (32mm) in diameter.

The Father of Our Country. I read the book "The Real George Washington". It's around here someplace. I think I'll dig it out again.
Medals are neat, each one takes you into a different direction in numismatics. I guess eventually some of us old coin collectors end up there.

Old and bad pic taken in direct sunlight. But I think jbuck will like it anyway. Another true patriot who understood the meaning of America.

Very nice Earle! I should know my history better. I don't know what Hawaii and Alaska represents on his token. I should look it up.
