Well the two the I have been waiting for finally arrived. However, they are the same two that RLS0812 posted on page 4! I wasn't going to post them then decided oh why not. I only took pics of the gold plated one but I'll take pics of the silver plated one tomorrow.

Not sure what took mine so long to get here. I think Toot and I got ours from the same place at the same time. I admit I kept forgetting to post the pics since I got them last week. But here they are. I wanted the 2016s b/c they are half dollar sized with the same REV as the JFK halves. The same REV design for two men of same mind concerning America. The gold one has a spot on it. I am thinking I should contact the seller and see about getting another.

Those look outstanding Earle42! Your pics sure do stand out it's not easy getting good crisp pics like that, especially through the air tites and not have any glare. Very impressive. I do see what you mean about the spot though, the reverse of my gold one is full of spots and what ever else that is. I did temail the seller but and asked if he would send me another but he has not replied back. Maybe it's time to find a different seller Thank you for posting them Earle42!

Thanks for the complement. But it was simple. iPhone 4s on top of a handy cardboard box, coins on the floor on a white piece of paper, and three el-cheapo Walmat LED lamps positioned equidistant around the coins.
One of these days I might take the time to actually take the advice of CCF photography-skilled members and start being serious about pics. But at present I have too much fun with sorting what I have and putting into 2X2s to get camera-serious. I still have a ton of pennies to look through for RPMs etc.

The spot is unfortunate but overall, what a neat looking presidential coin! I have never heard of the Sonoco coin company but now that I have I'm interested in seeing what others they may have. Thank you for post it USSID18

Tootallious-
Thanks! Sonoco is/was a gas station chain here in the east (New York) years ago, not sure if it's still around. I guess they gave stuff like this out years ago to attract customers.

Sunoco is a household name in the Northeast, they have gas stations and convenient stores. They have been around all of my life and are still in business. They typically cost a little more per gallon than the competition.

@USSID18 and TNG, thank you both for the imformation! Being born and raised in California and never traveling to the east coast would explain why I have never heard of Sunoco those coins, tokens and medals hard to find from what I understand.
