Allright - Aydin has 90% silver but not worn worthless coins - - NO I have nothing to do with them. Just a random Email I was the recipient of. Deal or no deal? I understand SILVER IS LIKE CLOSE TO 14$ AN OUNCE. Sorry for hollering - my fingers are fat and who in the heck put CAPS LOCK right next to the SHIFT tab? http://www.aydincoins.com/buy-silve...medium=emailEdited by Mark1959 09/16/2018 9:16 pm

Provident Metals, 90% silver at 10.8 x face, delivered to your door free with orders over $99. Same with APMEX. I bought a bag full a while back, was all Washingtons, with a half-dozen standers. Average circulated. Kind of odd though, that Aydin doesn't realize that 1964 dimes quarters and halves are also 90% silver.

Nice picture but you'll probably get a bunch of Washington quarters and Roosevelt dimes and maybe a couple well worn Mercury dimes and a Franklin and Walker or two if you bought $10.00 face. What is a War Nickel doing in there in the picture? When you go to sell there's always the refining fee that goes 10-15% of what it is really worth. A dealer will pay spot minus his refining costs, whether they get melted or not. If you sell to another individual person, good luck trying to charge a premium more than 10% over spot. When you buy from a dealer, just like this one, you are paying that fee. $1.00 face has .715 troy ounces in their 90% silver coins. Charging $12.85 . I think that comes out to $17.97 per troy oz.
$14.00 spot for .715 troy ounce is $10.01 and of course 1 troy oz .999 come out to $14.00. This last month I bought 20 troy oz of .999 pure silver for average $16.38 per oz. The extra I paid of course was for the purity ( refining done ) and it was shipped free. To me it's no deal and a bad deal if you don't get the nice Standing Liberty quarters and Walker halves like they show in the image. remember . You will receive Dimes, Quarters, Half Dollars all Pre-1964OH BOY!

.999 1 oz. Philharmonics at JMBullion, below $15.50 ea, shipped free over $99. Not bad. 50 cents over spot on their 100 oz. bars. No one beats Provident's every day sales.

Quote:What is a War Nickel doing in there in the picture? I didn't catch that before, TNG! Interesting... Is that the "not trustworthy" signal? Quote: Kind of odd though, that Aydin doesn't realize that 1964 dimes quarters and halves are also 90% silver. It may just be a syntactical error or trying to avoid confusion. I am sure that if you purchased a few batches, you would get a '64 or multiples mixed in. Quote: Not me! Give me 1964 all day long, if only for stacking junk silver... It's all 90%, so who cares?

That's too much so bad deal. It is pretty easy to find 90% at spot or just above. I've been able to get much of it under spot over the last few months (Craigslist and ebay). Not easy but if you put the work in, you can find the good pricing. A few days ago, got it for about 10 cents under spot (per ounce) from my LCS.
