1988 D Kennedy Half Dollar Help - Coin Community Forum

I come across this 1988 D Kennedy half dollar and I notice the strike of the D it's closer to the date when I compared with another 1988 coin. Its that considered an error? Thanks from a newbie. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/02/2019 6:13 pm RPMs were added by hand until 1990 where the mint marks are part of the design. So they can be in different locations at different angles pre 1989 coins. Report this Post to the Staff
