Okay I just had to share this. Very often, sellers use scraps of paper to pad their coins for shipping. I am 100% for saving the earth etc so I don't mind at all! It's usually scraps of paper or newspaper, but I just got coins taped to this, folded up: I think it's a picture of people playing Cricket? Do they usually play cricket in top hats? Let's keep it going - post the craziest "extra" things you have ever gotten along with coins in the mail.

Hahaha. Not so sure on the top hats. Only weird extra I recall getting with an ebay coin were several uncooked macaroni noodles.

Many years ago, I read on an ebay board that a buyer received their widget carefully wrapped in a pair of clean but obviously not new panties.

I can't find the CCF thread right away, but didn't someone post a year or so ago that they got coins shipped in a DVD jewel case?

A jewel case seems like it would offer reasonable protection.

What are the odds that the seller used his / her kids' art as packaging?

I've got it - it's a STOLEN ART COLLECTION.
You know, like tweakers buy beer and chips with stolen silver coin collections...

I'd send it back to where it came from. Might be a little kid crying because he lost his art work.

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone had received their package where it was sent in an empty condom box.
