Hello to Everyone,
Moments ago, as I was glancing at pocket change that a cashier from a local convenience store provided, I found the following 1902 Indian Head penny.

I was so surprised, I wanted to share this with the group and remind everyone that it does pay to "check your pocket change".

I think I will drive back to the store and see what other loose change I can find.

My Best to Everyone.

Very cool find! As a kid in the late sixties/early seventies, I would have loved to find such a coin in my change, but never did. Nearly all the Mercury dimes, Indian head pennies and Buffalo nickels had vanished from circulation by then.

I may be a cull, put back into circulation just for fun.
I have done this with some Australian coins.

Uh, no. It is a "details" coin given the cut across the cheek. Value less than one dollar.

Given its age, the condition could be a lot worse. You can at least see the date.
Nice find!!
Rest in Peace

A few years ago, I found an IHC in change--1885 or 86 I believe. First time for me after 45 years of collecting. It's a neat thing!
