Quote: I'm thinking 60% got one and 40% didn't, but we may be biased toward the ones that got one as those people are posting. Thoughts? I am in the 40% camp. It's my own fault though, first day I was on the road and the second day I forgot all about it. After that though I have been on the mints website everyday since at 7:30 sharp. Got one in my cart is as far as I have got so I know my chances are slim to none but I am not giving up until I see the Sold Out sign. The last and only hope I have left is if who ever draws my name for the Secret Santa works at Pinehurst Coins and see's this post!

I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but if anyone is sending to PCGS and decides to use the express service write "EXP" on the sides of the package so they know to open that one first. It's short enough it shouldn't get you in trouble with the post office as they get mad sometimes if you write express and it's not express mail

Anyone else seeing the ebay sales, the Packages they claim, are " unopened ".? Really, Twisted up and NOT looking crisp. I also see the auction's wording states, "Will be shipped in the original mint's package, COA's and coin included, just placed in another box", With an average of 20-35 bids too. I know I could repack the package I received from the mint, with no one the wiser...........PS, The last dozen or so auctions I have seen, sold for $1,200.00 plus too...... It seems like the collectors base, are running thin on the product. In my opinion, after the TPG'S coins start being returned back to the buyer's, That will flood the secondary market, with higher prices, and 69's and 70's Everywhere too......

I'm expecting a spike in about 2-3 weeks as all the graded ones and the ones from the mint will have arrived. After that I may have to increase my expected price to be around $1000 from $800-$850. Personally not worth it to me to buy at the ebay prices, but I'm not the target audience.

Bought mine on the 14th....now I know how everyone thinks about Fedex, yesterday @ 2pm my package was @10 miles west of me, today @ 3pm it's now @ 25 miles east of me and on Saturday it had to drive by the location it's now at.... ...now if I don't see it "out for delivery" tomorrow I'm going to have the USPS hold all my mail until next week (don't want to take the slightest risk of having it left on my doorstep while I'm at work)

Quote: This Baltimore signed (not 1-100) is going for $25k lol. Not sure he will get any hits but I'm watching out of curiosity... He's had that up since day one. His description is mis-leading as he's claiming it's one of the 100. He also has at least one other with a current bid of $6100 (not signed) though someone on here said the bids seem suspect.

Quote: I'm expecting a spike in about 2-3 weeks as all the graded ones and the ones from the mint will have arrived. Probably longer for the graded ones besides the express and bulk submissions. This is about the worst time of year they could have released it for grading turn around times. Baltimore just happened which usually increases the volume of submissions a good bit, then they're closed Thursday/Friday this week (maybe a half day Wed too) so November is usually one of the slower months. On the bright side they will try their best to clear out as much as they can before January where they get swamped with new releases, FUN and the New York World Coin Show. I asked for that once when I went on vacation. When I got back my mailbox was beyond stuffed.

LONGEST wait ever. I kept taking the dog on a walk to see if the mail person was around. I did over 9 miles just walking around waiting for the mail person. I agree but I would believe (I could be wrong) that the majority of flippers will express the grading and most dealers will probably do bulk and express to cash in. I was thinking that the people that did regular grading will hold on to the coin and won't unload it on ebay. But I'm not certain either way, the way this coin is going probably more speculators got it than actual collectors. I'm not even a collector of ASE (other than a few for pure bullion), and this is such a pretty coin, I could see me picking up a few more.

I'm going to go ahead and predict that this will be a sub $600 coin in OGP and PF-69 by the time the release anniversary rolls around. I think it will be around $500 at the second anniversary. I'm not going to speculate on the PF-70's because the populations are unknown at this point.

There's not really any such thing as bulk express if they get the 100+ they need for that, but the huge submitters will get their done first and faster than others. More people than usual probably did go the express route given the huge margin that exists. Collectors got plenty of them, it's just that when the profit gets that big its hard not to sell. Anyone who believes it'll be half price in a year or so absolutely should sell and then buy it back then, free coin and a profit if that actually does happen. Of course there is always the risk that it doesn't go down or actually goes up and then you have no coin and just a nice profit.

I'm happy I have one and that its worth a lot to other people :) Also, I have to use my days or lose them its either stay home to wait for a coin or take my daughter to the barn to ride horses. I'm tired of horses.. Quote: Of course there is always the risk that it doesn't go down or actually goes up and then you have no coin and just a nice profit. If we had a crystal ball or a super computer that accurately priced coins in the future. For the $65 cost why not hold it long term?

Still can't figure out how to do the quote boxes.. I can't see spending one of my sick days waiting for a $65.00 coin that has shot up in value due to the number of ASE collectors (which I am one)that were not lucky enough to get one directly from the mint. When I see it's waiting for pick-up due to my hold request, I'll just hit up the post office before work.. @Bret..did you order one, and if so I guess you are selling it now?

Quote: I can't see spending one of my sick days waiting for a $65.00 coin I strongly considered calling in the day it went on sale. Had I not used one earlier in the week because of a really bad cold I just might have.
