Interesting. I bought this one a couple of years ago from one of the members here. https://www.PCGS.com/cert/35374245In looking through some old auction catalogs, it exactly matches the plate photo from a 1964 New Netherlands auction. Same coin. Here was the lot description: 1881 "H", D of DEI over a small D, apparently from a punch intended for the Ten Cent pieces. Mostly golden-red Uncirculated. Except for a few minor bag-marks on the face, the surfaces are exceedingly clean. A most unusual blundered die, well worth a good price, as the present example is the only one we have ever seen or heard of.Sold for $60 USD in 1964. Of course, others have shown up since then. Still kinda cool. The auction consisted of coins from Ralph J. Lathrop of Carmel NY (have not heard of him), some Virgil Brand leftovers (have heard of him), and some of Wayte Raymond's stock (he had died by then). I am guessing it came from Raymond's stock, but am not sure. If the link above gives you an error message, hit "refresh the page" and it should come up. At least it does for me.

I have a few of them, but nothing even close to that beauty..I would think that you would need sunglasses on when you open the safety deposit boxes from the brilliant glare.

I attributed my coin to the 1964 auction based upon the pattern of carbon spots and other stray marks. Turns out I was mistaken. The person who sold me the coin just told me he is certain it was in his family in 1964. That means there is another similar looking mint state example out there. Also interesting.
