Why would you send this coin in for grading. 1909 VDB are common enough.

Unless a coin us worth at least 150.00-200.00 you are wasting your money and time getting it graded. Now if you like slabs just to collect them, go ahead. But next time you might want to shop for some already slabbed and save yourself from having to pay the grading service to slab your coins.
Too many people think slabbing is just a natural part of the hobby and waste money getting things put into slabs that will never cover the costs the services charge. You can find a ton of cheap slabs online b/c of this.

This coin is a DDO. That is the reason for sending it in for a slab with attribution. If it was not a DDO I would not send it in. Depending on the grade it receives it will be a $300 to $450 coin.

Might I ask where the doubling is I am not seeing it. Also if you want to send this coin in for a slab. I'll let you know the filled B & R and nicks will drop the Grade to the point its almost not worth sending in. Now if it is a DDO and the shape it's then its up to you. For me not seeing Doubling and the filed B-R, I would 2X2 it sell it for a album filler if you don't need one.

Thanks Oilogja. Dave Errors the doubling is the date fat nines and the zero. The markers are the filled b and r. Also a die clash from the bow tie up to the neck, very hard to see it in the photos. But in hand it is there. Thanks

No doubt about it. It's FS-1102.

Definitely FS-1102. Early die states don't have the die chips in the B and R anyway, so you really have to look for the SE doubling in the "90" of the date. You can even distinguish the last "9" of the date from a normal 1909 VDB.

Nice cherry-picked cent there for sure. Please update us with more pictures when it's in the slab.

_JPG_AAC.jpg) Note both of these coins. One is normal and the other is the DDO. Now the kicker. Both were slabbed by PCGS as the 1102. _JPG_AAA.jpg) They saw the markers on the 'want to be coin' or 'copy cat coin' and miss-graded as the DDO-002 _JPG_AAD.jpg) So don't buy this one: Again what to look for on this die?_JPG_AAC.jpg) Note the zero on the date at 4:00. That is the differences between the normal and the DDO. (Don fall for the markers on this one like PCGS did)
